dirt and dinos

This is one of the reasons that we have not put lawn in around the house yet.

I was feeling guilty a couple of months ago that I didn't do a water erosion lab that was in our science book.  I need not have felt that way, they are learning all about it in the front yard on a warm summer day.  Hose, dirt, shovels, dinos, sunshine, doggie, what more could there be to the first day of summer?

This much relaxing fun wouldn't be happening on grass!
