The second favorite part was ice skating. The kids had never been before, and they were pretty excited about trying it out. They did great. The first day a woman on the ice was very helpful to teach them enough to get off the wall. Before the session was done I had arranged for Ady to have a lesson two days later. The teacher happened to be there and worked with her for a few minutes, teaching her to turn around, in just a few minutes...talk about getting her excited for her lesson!
Two days later, she worked with the teacher on and off for the whole 2 hour session. Caiden who said that he didn't want a lesson, actually took a few tips from the teacher as well! (way to go teacher Charles!) both kids can glide, turn, get up from falls, and are working on balancing on one leg, and learning to swizzle (sounds fancy, huh?)
The hula hoops are to help them stay up straight with their arms out.

Did you end up going to Running Y? Glad you had a good vacation. The ice skating looks awesome. You're kids are at a great age to really enjoy it. We're headed to Eagle Crest next week for some R and R.
