For a couple of weeks we have talked a little about our senses. Last week we did an experiment with taste and color. Today we did one using a convex lense made from a jar, saran wrap, rubber band, and water. After they had looked through the water on the top to see that the toy appeared larger and compared it to looking through the jar on the side; Caiden says, "How about we draw a picture to show what we did?" um....let me think about that for less than a second..sure, you can draw a picture for the science book with diagrams and labels!! We also had watched our pupils dialate in the bathroom mirror, which was probably the biggest highlight of the day! oh, the simple things. This is a book that I found at the library and am super impressed, I am hoping that it is a series with more. It is simple and uses stuff from home. good stuff.
