travelling

When we travel south with the dogs we always stop at Jelly's Ferry. We don't actually go into the public area. There is a lovely spot just off the road that the dogs love and there's a great big hill the kids love to climb and slide down. While the dogs do their thing and the kids run around, Kevin supervises them all, while I gain control of the van again, gathering garbage and snacks, wrangling toys and crayons back into backpacks, shaking blankets and rugs. A nice break for all!

When we stopped on the way back home, the kids stepped out of the van and Ady said, "Look! our pile of rocks from last time!" So cute!
