some reinforcement

This week we were studying the nile river and ancient Egypt. We colored and labeled maps, read Egypt themed stories, and built a Nile River. The model of the Nile river was supposed to help understanding of the flooding of the River and how the Egyptians used this yearly flooding and fertile soil to grow crops.

Next up was impromptu animal science. The kids finally finally found praying mantis in the yard. Two, one brown and one green. Caiden went and put gloves on, then gathered them into the cage with a little twitchy help from his sister. Next he went and got his science notebook and found the praying mantis pages he had worked on a few weeks ago, then proceeded to tell the Mantis about themselves. Good work!!
