feathers and beds

I had an old featherbed that was taking up too much space in the linen closet. It was hanging out on the bedroom floor waiting for someone to have an idea. The doggies thought that it was a great place to snuggle. Which gave me the idea of turning it into two dog beds. We needed one for Vicar and Anslow really needed a bigger bed than he had.

So I shook it to split the feathers in half.  Cut.

Stitched each half closed.  Then got an old twin flannel sheet set out of the closet as well, which was waiting for a new purpose.  Cut them in half and sewed up two sides to make giant pillowcases.
Voila!
