Great Pyramids and Mummies

History time in October was spent on studying Ancient Egypt.  The pyramids and mummies and archeology.  There really are so  many resources and books and projects relating to these topics that it is hard to choose.

I purchased an excavation kit.  The kids used tools to dig out the mummy and sarcophagus.

They did the digging while they watched a documentary on the great pyramids.

They also made pyramids using sugar cubes and frosting, then spray paint. Nice display!
