Just after getting home from Portland, I spent part of the week helping our friend Stephanie sort through a trailer full of things that needed to be "rehomed". Basically, an entire household. So, despite freezing cold winds, and dust devils blowing through, we worked like crazy people every other day...to dust off, open, sort and pile. By the next Saturday, The Mission came with their big truck to take most of the belongings that weren't as personal. A hard and emotional week for my friend, and she held up great. She did a very very hard thing and I hope there is relief at the end of the process.
We didn't take many pictures of the process itself, basically, my hubby would unload a pick-up trucks' worth of boxes from the trailer and stack it under the carport, then Stephanie and I would open them, one by one, and try to get rid of garbage, save for specified friends/ family, save extremely personal items and the rest went into "The Mission" or ebay pile.
A little time on the last day to reminisce in her wedding dress in the backyard. Lovely weather for some photo play, and beautiful Stephanie remembering her precious Lee!
