Kevin and I got to go away for a couple of days. The kids got to spend time with grandma and grandpa. We did take dear Anslow with us, he is certainly in need of some social experiences. We stayed at The Riverhouse in Bend Oregon. They had a good off season rate and we got a riverview room, plus they are dog friendly...without the extra pet charge that so many places add on. Our big outing was to go snowshoeing. Neither of us had been before. We went on a tour with Wanderlust Tours They took us to Mt. Bachelor and into the Forest. Anslow got to go and he absolutely loved it. The tour guide gave us all kinds of information about the trees and lichen and mountain range. He took frequent stops which allowed us to breathe a bit better! All in all we had a lovely time and enjoyed a restful couple of days.
