My sweet Adyson is turning 5 this year. She is getting to celebrate a few times this year. Part one of our marathon birthday week was going to the Sleeping Beauty Ballet at the Ross Ragland Theatre, put on by the Eugene Ballet company. We got to attend a student matinee which was perfect for our three little girls. The show was one hour and the summary was read to the girls. Since a ballet has no words, strictly music and mime, it proved interesting to my little one. Although she is well acquainted with the Disney princesses in this stage of her life, including dear princess Aurora. About halfway through the ballet, Ady said, "oh!!! princess Aurora, we HAVE that one at home!" So, although I thought I had prepared her well in advance about what we were going to be seeing, it seemed to take a bit for her to actually figure it out... Once she did, she was completely spellbound and loved every moment. The costumes were beautiful and the dancing was lovely. Our princesses did indeed enjoy the show.

Next up, was lunch at Nibbley's Cafe. A local restaurant (loved by women, if this is any clue as to the menu and speed of service!) The mommies ordered yummy sandwiches, soups and salads. The girls had PB&J. They had a great time coloring and visiting over lunch.
What would a trip to town be around here without a visit to Walmart? Especially when you have three mommies that don't live in town! The girls were patient as we each gathered our necessities, then were delighted to have ice cream and shakes at the built in Mc Donald's.

Finally, it was time to go home and say goodbye to our friends for a couple of days, until the next gathering...princess party for Ady at the Tieg house. Since we are in the middle of moving (yeah!) Carol has graciously agreed to let us use her fabulous playroom, which includes a full size trampoline inside and room for romping, I plan to make a barbie cake(similar to last years')...let the fun begin...again!
