Baseball Jamboree

Last weekend was our baseball Jamboree.  Which is opening games for all the teams, held at the same place and takes most of a day.  My parents came out for the event.  For the little guys, we only have games on weeknights for the rest of the season, so probably this is the only day they can come watch.  T-ball, and pony ball(coach pitch).  The kids both had a great day, they got to be cheered on and the center of attention from the family.  They got to see some of their friends from school last year.  They got to wear uniforms, hats and cleats.  Now we are off and running for about 7 more weeks of baseball season in our house.  Since the kids are on different teams, we are committed to 4 afternoon/evenings a week to the events. 

At least the weather should be warming up soon...but in the beginning the weather makes us wonder if summer will EVER come! (we don't really have spring here, so we spend our wintery spring, hoping for summer)
