ahhh...home from school today. Daddy scraped snow for a couple of hours getting ready to load a hay truck..which was stuck in snow down at the scale. The kids and I went for a little walk up the hill to Uncle Jerry and Aunt Wendy's place where they got to help Jerry shovel snow and climb his great snow pile. Finally, the snow had begun again along with the wind so we went inside to warm up, have a snack and do school work with mommy.
What's for lunch today? Special French dip...slow cooked stew meat with onion soup mix, cream of mushroom and seasoning by Kevin. Then we shred the meat, load it onto broiled cheesy French rolls, dip in au jus and try not to drool toooo much. The sandwich is messy for the kids, so they will get some of the meat to eat with a fork and cornbread from yesterday...which they absolutely loved because they both had some for a snack and dinner last night! (not a usual occurrence in our house!)

hmmm yummy. Our snow day looked so cheesy next to yours lol. OUr snow lasts for about an hour or so, then back to rain.
