Well, I think my son is going to get rich this summer. He has had four teeth wiggling for a couple of months. Monday, he and daddy wrangled number 1 out. He brought a bloody mouth to mommy, thanks dear. After a good rinse the newly lost tooth got the appropriate attention and place of honor in a bowl on the counter until bedtime. We secured it to an envelope for tooth fairy mommy to find and put a dollar there. Daddy did the honors actually. Next morning Caiden was excited about the dollar, and sad because he had also lost the tooth in his room. Perhaps next time we change the bed or rearrange we will be able to find it. (He apparently does NOT realize the amount of labor went into him GETTING that tooth in the first place, or he would not so carelessly have lost it!!)
