science made easy

Last week, Caiden caught a butterfly. After catching it, he wanted to know what kind it was, so of course, we headed to google. Within a minute we had a great website with pictures and details and stuff. It was a Red Admiral. We printed out some of the info to make our first science page in the science notebook. We found a coloring sheet as well, that he colored to match the pictures. The next day we found another great butterfly site.

Now we're reading this book, a collection of poems that tells a story with nonfiction information about the animals in the back.

The next day he caught flies and we did it all again, printed out facts and a coloring sheet and stuck them in the notebook. I could get used to this kind of studying and am again so very thankful for the wonderful resources on the internet.
