Burney Falls

Burney Falls is about 2 hours from us. I have lived here almost 7 years and this was my first visit. I love it. Beautiful. I can hardly wait until summer to go again and be able to walk the trails without snow and ice. We hiked the road down to the lake (maybe 3 miles round trip) the kids were well worn out and peacefully hungry and tired.

At the lake Caiden liked walking on the docks and feeling the water. At the beach side, Ady liked playing in the sand and watching the patterns it makes when thrown into the water. Caiden played hide and seek with my picture taking, testing mommy's reflexes.

A nice family day that I think we'll try again in warmer weather.
