My friend Christine loves animals (more than I) and has rescued several over the years. Over the last weekend her honey made this great new turtle habitat (maybe she's a tortoise? I wasn't listening very well.) Any way, I helped her lift the thing up onto cinder blocks for better circulation and to be taller. The kids enjoyed watching her crawl all over the place. That sounds great! David has always wanted a turtle, but it will have to wait until he can maintain it (they are not cheap... (: at least not according to the list the pet shop guy gave me) I bet the kids had fun.
