My kindred spirit came for a one night stopover with her family. Everyone had a grand time. Lots of playing up on the hill. (my kids are only allowed up there when bigger kids come to visit). A race to the potato cellar (the big white dome seen in many outside photos on the blog) echoing and flashlights in the dome (it is empty now and is a fabulous echo chamber) A long walk on the farm, many 4 wheeler rides. Guests in the bedrooms...the highlight I think. Adults and older kiddo (exchange student from Korea) play cards into the night. The moms talk way way way farther into the night. Lots of stories and personal information and much much laughter. 3 1/2 hours later...An early morning with friends with more time on the hill with the old tree house and doughnuts for breakfast. Needless to say, I took a loooong nap today, as did my kids, thank goodness. We absolutely adore having our friends come visit and look forward to another...anytime!

Love those moments. Will be having it here pretty soon. It'll be 5 kids total, yikes. Sounds like you had alot of fun. :)
